Azimio moves to court to block Kenya Kwanza elected Majority Leadership for National Assembly, says Azimio is the majority Party in National Assembly

Azimio will proceed to court to block Kenya Kwanza elected Majority Leader of National Assembly Kimani Ichungwa, Owen Baya ( Deputy Majority NA), Sylvanus Osoro (Chief Whip) and Deputy Chief Whip Naomi Waqo from holding the office. They will say Azimio is the majority in National Assembly.

On their hand, during their Parliamentary Group Meeting in Machakos, Azimio elected the Majority leader of National Assembly as Opiyo Wandanyi, Robert Mbui as the Deputy Majority Leader NA, Junet Mohamed as the Chief Whip and Sabina Chege as the Deputy Chief Whip.

Azimio accepted that they are the minority in the House of Senate and they have forwarded the names of their minority leadership in Senate.

Azimio senators elected Stewart Madzayo as their Senate Minority Leader, Enock Wambua as Deputy Minority Leader, Fatuma Dullo as the Minority Chief Whip and Edwin Sifuna as the Deputy Minority Chief Whip.
