Kipsuter Bridge Raises Concerns Amidst Growing Structural Issues



The Kipsuter Bridge in Chepalungu, Bomet County, a vital transportation artery in the region, continues to deteriorate, causing growing fear and anxiety among its users. Visible cracks and developing holes have been left unaddressed, raising serious questions about the structural integrity of the bridge.

Residents and commuters are increasingly alarmed by the neglect of the bridge's worsening condition. This critical link between two essential areas of the region remains a point of worry, with its present state suggesting a potential collapse that puts lives and livelihoods in jeopardy.

Despite repeated concerns raised by the community, local authorities have not taken immediate action to assess the extent of the damage or implement a plan for repairs or replacement. Heavy vehicle traffic on the bridge continues without restrictions, leaving commuters at risk.

Residents are left with no choice but to exercise extreme caution and consider seeking alternate routes, as authorities have yet to ensure the safety of the Kipsuter Bridge. The lack of swift action is causing frustration and concern among those who rely on this essential transportation link.

He has been taking a show of ‘Mesetab Taach Fm ’ which is believed to be touching on political and development of the country. He has been running the show alongside his counterpart senior presenter Kimutai Maritim who has worked with a number of radio stations for many years including KBC Radio Taifa, Chamgei Fm, Congasis Fm, Kitwek Fm among other Kalenjin radio stations.
